Meat and Dairy Associations

Livestock and poultry production, including beef, dairy, chickens, turkeys, eggs, pork, sheep and lambs, are economic cornerstones of many communities across British Columbia. Our livestock and poultry sector is a source of safe, high-quality meat products and world-renowned beef and dairy genetics.

B.C. dairy products including milk, butter, cheese, sour cream, and yogurt are known for their delicious tastes and strict adherence to high-standards of food quality control. Our clean environment, good water quality, favourable climate, and relatively young age of the animals used for meat production combine for high-quality pork and beef that is a trademark of western Canada.
